How to Book Your Excursion

Lets Talk

  • We’ll discuss your excursion needs and share what we can offer.

Receive Your Quote & Itinerary

  • Based on your preferences, we’ll send you a detailed quote and a proposed itinerary.

Confirm Your Booking

  • Once you accept the offer in writing, we’ll issue an invoice.

Secure Your Spot

  • Your booking is confirmed once we receive your payment. Full payment is required at least 30 days before the departure date.

Get Ready to Go

  • Before your trip, we’ll send you a pre-departure information pack with everything you need to know, including what to bring.

Behind the Scenes

  • Planning your tour involves many moving parts—from sourcing food and scheduling guides, to booking campsites and maintaining vehicles. Our terms and conditions are designed to ensure fairness for everyone involved: you as our valued guest, Her Nature Journey as your host, and the dedicated people who support your journey.

Booking Confirmation & Deposit

  • Once your booking is confirmed by Her Nature Journey, a 25% deposit is required within 14 days to secure your place.

  • Please note: Deposits are non-refundable.

Final Payment

  • Full payment is due 30 days prior to your tour departure. If payment is not received by this time, your booking may be cancelled.

Late Bookings

  • For bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment must be made within 72 hours of confirmation.

Agreement to Terms

  • By paying a deposit and/or any portion of the tour cost, you are acknowledging and agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking a tour with Her Nature Journey (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“client”, “you”, “traveller”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all bookings made through our website, by phone, or in person.

  • Her Nature Journey recommends that you arrange personal travel insurance which will provide you with the best cover in any event.

  • We accept no responsibility for injury, illness or other such accidents sustained while on tour. 

  • Her Nature Journey accepts no liability for lost or stolen property. 


Cancellation Policy

  • We understand that plans can change, so here’s our simple policy for all tours:

1. If you need to cancel your trip:

  • More than 30 days before departure? You’ll get a full refund minus your booking deposit.

  • Between 7 and 29 days before? You’ll get back 50% of your total booking cost.

  • Less than 7 days before? Unfortunately, we can’t offer a refund.

  • If you cancel more than 14 days before your trip, you can choose to keep the full value of your booking as credit for any future Her Nature Journey trip (valid for 1 year).

2. Want to switch trips?

  • No problem! You can transfer to another trip up to 14 days before your original trip starts.

  • You can move your booking to the same trip on a later date or try a new adventure.

  • There’s no transfer fee, but you might need to cover any price difference.

3. Missed your trip or leaving early?

  • Sorry, but we can’t offer refunds for any unused parts of your trip.

4. Payment reminder:

  • Please make sure your final payment is in 30 days before your trip.

  • If payment isn’t received on time, we may have to cancel your booking.

5. If we have to cancel:

  • If Her Nature Journey cancels your trip, you can choose either a refund (minus the booking deposit) or a full credit to use on a future trip.


COVID related cancellation policy

If you are no longer able to attend your booked trip due to covid travel restrictions and need to cancel at any time before the commencement of the trip, you may receive your choice of either: 

1. Monetary refund of the trip cost minus the booking deposit.(Booking deposit will be retained as credit which can be used for up to 2 years) Or 

2. Full credit to transfer to a later trip with Her Nature Journey valid for up to 1 year.
